Help Make a Difference in Your Community
Unite Bridge Hope (UBH) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help establish and run our new Community Resource Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that provides essential household items, clothing, toiletries, baby items and other vital resources to individuals and families in need.
Volunteer Role
As a Resource Centre Volunteer, you will help to:
- Set up and organise the resource centre.
- Create simple systems for incoming and outgoing donations.
- Sort, label and stock donated items.
- Receive and record deliveries.
- Process resource requests from members and referral partners.
- Pick, pack and prepare resource orders.
- Help distribute essential items to members and community organisations.
- Keep the resource centre clean, tidy and well organised.Work as part of a friendly and supportive volunteer team.
We’re Looking For People Who Are:
- Organised and reliable.
- Friendly and welcoming.
- Happy to work as part of a team.
- Able to carry out light lifting and moving of boxes (where appropriate).
- Passionate about supporting their local community.
