Unite Bridge Hope is looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support our ESOL Baking Sessions. Volunteers will help create a welcoming environment where learners can improve their English conversation skills while baking and sharing cakes from around the world.
Sessions also provide opportunities for learners to help sell cakes at Bakara Café, giving them real-life experience using English in the community.
Skills & Qualities
- Friendly, patient, and supportive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Interest in community work, food, or cultural activities
- Ability to encourage and motivate others
- No teaching or baking qualifications required
Time Commitment
- Approximately 4 hours weekly
