Bakara Café is a community-led, voluntary café that brings people together through cakes from around the world—and we’re looking for passionate volunteer bakers to join us.

We run the café every Wednesday, with baking taking place each Tuesday to prepare fresh, homemade cakes for our guests. Our goal is simple: celebrate global traditions, one cake at a time.

🌍 What We’re Looking For

We’re inviting volunteer bakers who would love to:

• Bake traditional cakes from their own culture
• Explore and recreate cakes from other cultures around the world
• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive café experience

⏰ Commitment

• Around 2–3 hours per week (Tuesday baking)
• Flexible and manageable alongside your schedule

• Reliable and able to commit regularly
• Passionate about baking and sharing culture
• No professional experience required—just enthusiasm and care
