Sexton Avenue Community Allotment Garden

Plot to Plate is a community gardening group where people come together to plant and grow vegetables and herbs while building friendships and learning new skills.

Participants learn about the growing process, work outdoors in fresh air, and interact with the local community. The project promotes wellbeing, reduces loneliness and isolation, and supports community cohesion through shared activity.

Harvested vegetables and herbs are shared among the growers, with the remaining produce sold at minimal cost through the UBH Café and group sessions, helping to make fresh, healthy food accessible to all.

Plot to Plate is a welcoming, hands-on way to connect with others, learn, and be part of a supportive community.
