A practical home essentials support service by Unite Bridge Hope
The House to Home Project provides starter packs to individuals and families moving into a new property who may be unable to afford essential household items. The project aims to help people settle into their new home with dignity, comfort, and practical support during a difficult transition period.
Starter packs may include:
- Cleaning products
- Quilt and bedding sets
- Toilet rolls
- Tea towels
- Dust pan and brush sets
- Washing up items
- Clothes pegs and washing lines
- Basic household essentials
The project focuses on providing the everyday items that are often overlooked but are essential when starting out in a new home. By easing some of the financial pressure associated with moving, the project supports wellbeing, independence, and stability for local residents.
To receive a starter pack, individuals must be referred by a partner organisation and must be a member of Unite Bridge Hope. Please see our Members Page for information on how to join and access support services.
